Vlad, I've seen worse on Magnum's website!! These are terrific, and the b/w processing is superb.

Thanks to everyone who has commented on my images. It's sort of evolved that I'm using this forum as an informal editorial board for my blog. This is really very helpful.

    Again, thanks to all.

Thank you so much for your kind words, very much appreciated.

I have only had the M a few days but it is growing on me. I can already feel it, I will probably become a hardcore fan of Leica This from today...

That set really clicked into place once I stumbled onto the idea of overexposing the images.

Noticed a lot of churches and cathedrals as I walked around San Francisco.

All shot with the 24 lux.

I encountered some incredible trees in San Francisco. Guess they're used to posing for the tourists.

The first three were shot with the 24mm. The last one was shot with the 18mm.

This was mostly a matter of being there when the evening light reached the magic moment. Technically to me the most interesting thing about this is how wonderfully this 1957 lens (50mm dual range summicron) performs - it's razor sharp and provides terrific three dimensionality and the shadows are easier to work with than the modern 50mm lux asph, which is my other 50mm lens.

We went for a drive yesterday afternoon and ran across this small herd of buffalo as they were crossing the road near Gros Ventre, Jackson Hole WY. All were taken with the 135 f/3.4mm lens.

This lens has exceeded my expectations on what it would provide in terms of landscape and nature.

This lens has exceeded my expectations on what it would provide in terms of landscape and nature.

Don: Nice captures! Of course the buffalo's more dangerous then the bear you photographed the other day.

Doing a little rearranging in my office. Had some of my very favorite photography books on a chair in some interesting light. BTW, every one of these books is HIGHLY recommended.

I have only had the M a few days but it is growing on me. I can already feel it, I will probably become a hardcore fan of Leica This from today...

Dan. I certainly hope you do become hardcore! At least as long as you keep sharing your amazing images with us.
