I like these two best. The last one is really jaw-dropping. I'll bet you were thrilled when you popped that open in your RAW converter.

Hey Lloyd, I especially like the aerial perspective in the first one. It reminds me of a crisp Colorado morning. Where are you located? The second has some nice geometry and repetition -- I like to shoot this kind of shot myself. What surprised me is it's a 21mm. I wouldn't have guessed it that wide (I realize it shoots like a 28mm on the M8).

I've been unable to comment due to my father's health problems. All of you post magnificent shots, they are an inspiration in these difficult times.

    beautiful, ton!

if i have learned anything as a hobbyist photographer living in a boring, ugly city it's that the photographer has more opportunity to expand his/her creativity. and it looks like you have no trouble of doing that regardless of where you are. (not saying holland is boring though, probably MUCH more interesting than here )

That's very true, Jerry. As an author and poet I also have very perceptive senses, never suspecting they would serve me well while picking up the camera one day. One can indeed make a beautiful photograph of everything. The M9 does intensify this way of looking though!

Really like this one. The color, and the odd sense of location, yet dislocation, due to the shallow DoF.

Columbia River and I-90 near Vantage (middle of Washington State). George, Washington, is just down the road. Unfortunately, the Martha's Inn is no longer in business (great pie). Four photos stitched in CS5. Cheers, Matt.
