Thankfully, The Old Blue Eyes is home now, convalescing among his loved ones, and his famous heart-winning smile is back on his lips.

Although I was unable to respond to your wonderful posts and discussions, I was by no means away from them; during the darkest times, I found solace by tiptoeing into this haven. It is impossible for me to name those of you who posted those magnificent shots, I loved each and everyone of them.

I want to thank you all for... well just being what you are. I shall now post a single shot. I know this does not qualify here; it was not taken by a Leica M camera, and it has serious technical flaws, but it shows my dad with his neurologist just before he left for home.

Thanks Lloyd, I wish I had moved the magenta chair though - it would look better if it were the 2nd instead of the 4th. The other colors match the tree. Mind you, it's not my property so the owners might have been a bit upset if I proceeded to reorganize their yard...

    Maybe I'll cheat in PS....

Frank, I really like the irony of that second image - very clever!
    All three are great.

Steve: Nice set of photos! Excellent color in the first two. Bit of noise just adds a little grain (5:30 am!). Like Cindy, I like the Motor Scooter girl. Cookie's adorable, but, perhaps a little embarrassed to be dressed that way. Nice work. Cheers, Matt.

    Maybe I'll cheat in PS....

Bill: +1, what Lloyd said. It would be tiresome to have to qualify that shot every time with "I changed the colors in PS..." Photographic ethics, you know. My question is why are those chairs lined up like that?

    Cheers, Matt
