Strange coincidences

Here's a strange coincidence - I bought a 50 'lux a year ago or so which I sold to Mike Hatam here on the forum a while back. s/n 4055483.

Earlier this year I decided to buy a replacement once I'd had my M9 for a while and lo and behold it had the preceeding s/n 4055482.

So what are the odds of buying two separate 50/1.4's from completely different people and channels and ending up with sequential s/n's? :toocool:

Graham,

I just wanted to acknowledge this "Stranger Than Fiction" story with a wow what are the chances of that..........

Hopefully you will enjoy the last lense's sibling as much as the first.

Don't kick yourself just because you're now stuck with the old copy.

I, too, thought I could live without this lens, but I was wrong.

Actually, I have sold one lens to one person, and soon after, I have regret selling it, so purchased another one from different individual. And guess what? The serial number matched... Somehow, the person who purchased my lens sold it to the third person, and I got that exact lens from that third person... Small world..

Hee hee - now that is funny. :ROTFL: I normally stick to buying back the same gear that I'd sold. That happened with my WATE and recently with an M8 too
