    75 Cron , 90 Cron or Zeiss 85 ?

    I need your opinion on these three lenses.
    which one should I go for?
    BTW I have the 50 Lux

    Mohammed, I have the first two; they are perfect lenses for me in all aspects...

    If you have WATE, 28, 50, and wanting to go longer, 90 sounds natural choice to me.

    I think the Zeiss is the best telephoto available for rangefinder use, if I'm not mistaken (please see the review at www.reidreviews.com if you have a subscription).

    I had the Summicron 75 but found the difference between it and the 50 Summilux ASPH to be too small to be noticeable. I sold it after one month.

    I've owned them all; the one I've kept and enjoy on the M9 is the Zeiss 85/2.

    You might also want to see Puts' web site where he discusses this lens and compares it to a few others.

    I used to own the 90/2 AA. It's most excellent. However, the 85/2 has better bokeh, IMHO, and better close performance. Some pics:

    all the close portraits are done with the 85/2.

    I would not trade the 85/2 for the 90/2 AA.
