David, that is the same way things open in CS5 or other CS photoshops. you do the raw work in LR3, th en open with and it opens to CS5, then do a save as and it saves as TIFF.

The alternative way to access straight in Adobe is look up the file in the catalog manually outside LR3 by path, then you can edit RAW in CS5.

PRobably not applicable to what you said though, just info...

But maybe operating as a plug in is a little different. LR3 and CS5 work together, but it is not really a plugin relationship.

Guys all I can say is nicw photos, keep it rolling. l8er... Other than Dan, I felt same way about the sun/shade, country field shot of mine, I liked the tones and solar treatment of this one.

I forgot to put in the details. M8 with the 40 1.4 shot wide open here.

I plan on using my Leica more and more for work now realizing the limitations and how to turn those into advantages.

Saw your ad on the ZM 25. Keeping the 24 elmar over the Zeiss then?
. . . . . looking to raise money for a M9 so I put my M8.2 and ZM 25 up to see if I could raise some cash. Choice of the 24 Elmar over the Zeiss could of been a coin flip. I felt I had other lens that could fill the need for low light. I enjoy the Elmar and find it to be a beautiful day light lens in the short time I have used it. I have owned the ZM 25 twice now and if this one sells, I most likely have another one in the future at some point.

BTW, I love the Voightlander 40/1.4 myself, a lot of value for the price of the lens!

    Great photos Doug, Dan, Steve.

These are not a reflection of the camera, lens, photographer, only a reflection of the available subjects. Hope you don't mind.

The thread moves so fast, we so many amazing shots. I am many pages behind
Steve, amazing shot of the "birds" Great street shot too!!
Yamas, very nice series of shots.
David, stunning series again. You have an amazing eye for composition, particularly with the WA's.
    Dan, very nice series.
Doug, very nice shots. Love the one outlined by the trees and fence!
    Jason, beautiful portrait shot!
    Boymerang, cool fun shot!!!

Some shots from this afternoon with the 75 Lux/M9. The light was constantly changing as the storms were rolling in, as the surfers were practicing for a competition.

Cool geometry David. Nice images Yamas, great clarity on the water shots.

Charles, that last surf shot with the city across the way? Amazing!

Thanks on that tree/fence shot. I think you saw it exactly how I saw it. Not everyone sees it I guess that way. When I saw that treeline, I knew I had to do something with it.

I've been really enjoying catching up to all the incredible images posted in this thread....especially in the last few pages. Simply amazing and such a diverse number of subjects, lighting, angle of views and so on. So many interesting approaches to many of these images, that it gives pause for thought and at the same time ignites so many ideas for future shots. Quite instructive to say the least! Too many images to comment on individually at the moment, but a big thank you to everyone who posted.

Re: The Very Latest & Greatest Fun w/Digital M Images

f1,0, love the shore leave photo and the blond licking the mutton chop! Nice captures . . . . .
Steve, nice street scene, certainly a sign of the times in every city you visit, amazing how many there are today . . . . . . great capture with the Lux 21mm! . . . . . and the dark contrast B&W of the man with the cigarette in his hand is another shot that I enjoyed, love the added mystery of not seeing the whole face, nice capture!
Doug, lovely captures of the country side, love the second shot with the detail of the barn with the cows along with the soft bokeh in the third, like a view out a window. Nicely done . . . . . btw, do you work for the railroad? . . . . . Nice shot of the railroad track grinding car . . . . . and the face in the sidewalk is a fun capture!
David, your wide angle shots are always eye candy, the lines, shapes, angles, shade and light in this set of photographs is enjoyable to view!
Yamas, I'm a sucker for anything Marine and the palm trees in the sunset is a wonderful shot. My favorite is the second shot, love the smile and happiness on her face, sharp on the boy and soft bokeh in the background! Wonderful . . . . .
Charles, just outstanding! Beach, water, sun, storm clouds, and the light in the first two surfing shots is fantastic. Great capture of the man on the unicycle on the beach, I just have not seen that before, an amusing shot, at least for me, I'm still chuckling when I thing about it. As someone else commented the last shot with the surf and the city in the background is very nice.
Mike, nice comparison shot of the winter beach. It does look like a great beach for long strolls any time of the year.
Steven, Beautiful photographs of Yosemite, all of them are fantastic, but number one and four are my favorites!
Bill, as someone else already mentioned, great detail! Nice shot . . . . .

    Dan:

Great shots of Seattle. Makes miss the city and its probably time to visit; sorry a visit is enough for me. I miss the gery skies once in awhile. Maybe spring is a better time.
