Very nice Rizz. And, thanks for reminding me how much I like the way that lens renders. I'll have to get mine back into the rotation.

Steve, Great set from the previous page! I see that you are having fun with the 35Lux. #4, 5, 7 & 8 are fantastic! #4 What an expression! #8 Perfect timing on the gesture on the guy's hands and the pretty girl's hands!
Cableguy Eek, what are they doing standing next to that radioactive waste? Nice shot and pp. Like the expression on the guy on the left.
Charles, another wonderful set from Down Under. Very nice pp. Love the rendering of the 35Lux on #4

Re: The Very Latest & Greatest Fun w/Digital M Images

I was in London yesterday picking up a little something from my camera dealer (Zeiss 25mm Biogon), but beforehand spent several hours photographing the demonstration on spending cuts.

These are all with the M8 and 35mm 'cron, and just a flavour of the day, which started off friendly enough and then deteriorated into something altogether more unpleasant.

Leica Men (M9 and M6) After they noticed me snapping them we spent some time chatting before the march began.

It was very loud but good-humoured to begin with.

    No Cuts

And then you could feel the tension increasing:

Terrific shots of the demonstration, Mike.

They give you a sense of what it must have been like to be there.

Spent part of last week in Orlando for the CTIA tradeshow. Didn't get out much, beyond the show itself.

These are from the Orange County Convention Center. Both were shot with the 24 lux.

+1 Excellent photo reportage Mike! Very nice.

Edit: On the first shot, don't you think the person on the left resembles HCB?

David, a very nice set. Really like the framing of the first shot leading to the person at the top of the stairs.

    What an amazing thread!

Rather than re-post the images here, perhaps I can just post this link to my recent blog at Leica regarding my on-going Cuba work:

    http://blog.leica-camera.com/

Almost all the images were taken with the M9, the ultimate street machine IMHO

    Cheers,

f 1,0 – I especially like the colors on the photo you posted. For some reason, though, I can’t bring up the larger version.

boymerang – Superb light on those two shots.

Joe – Very nice shot. Terrific faces.

Ryan – A fine set of shots. I especially like the processing on the two b&w ones.

Thanks all for your kind works: Charles, Ashwin, Ryan, David, Steve, Lloyd and everyone else!

Ash, an excellent read of your trip to India at Steve Huff's site! Well done
Ryan, nice work with the bricks. The sharpness on the Leica glass may have just caused some cracks to appear on the wall?
David, the tonality looks very nice on those flowers!
Steve, very nice set buddy! Liking the evocative B&W mood to #3 & 4.

Very nice indeed. Nothing wrong with that lens or that camera! I have a 1968 50 Cron I just can't bring myself to part with. Tack sharp, draws beautifully. Looks like you've got one like that yourself.
