RF-Licks - as others have said the commute photo is wonderful. And Ethan on the floor is a winner as well.

Ash - really like the one with the soldier in the center of the frame peeking out at the camera. So many points of view to look "through" in this image.

I was booked in the car today. Car, car, car. Tried to make the best of it by taking the camera along. I'm not sure if this reminds me of that time I broke out of jail, or what it looked like from the rear window of the Delorean just as the lightning struck....

m9, 21/1.4, f/16, 1/3sec with a ND filter.

I'm thinking, "what a great shot.... and he didn't even get the Flux Capacitor" in the frame!"

Nicely done, Steve.

It's nice to get back to this best of all photo threads on the internet. I wouldn't know where to start in terms of thanking individual contributors. I'm in awe of the work posted in the past week or two while I was off cavorting in the MF forum, which is frankly less dynamic that this. Here are my modest contributions. Both posted to my daily blog for March 1. Both with my M9 and my 90mm elmarit.

Woody - Your vision here of shapes and light is great - these are wonderful to look at, and yet so different from the street shots or the landscapes or other types of shots folks have posted. I especially like the first.

Building shot was from inside my car while stopped at a red light. I need to go back and redo the shot. all the window stain is visible in the picture... :(

. . . . . pages have gone by since my last post and I have been lurking. Need to catch up . . . . . perhaps latter in the week . . . . . great shots from so many folks, just wonderful photography . . . . .

A couple from the weekend while out and about picking up some produce down at the market.

Also struck by the continuation and perhaps increase in businesses that have closed and replaced with 'for lease' signs . . . . .

Lloyd, Ashwin, Steve, Joe; lovely to get praise from masters, thank you very much.
Ryan, enchanting set! Savannah suddenly made a giant leap upwards on my places-to-visit list.
Woody, excellent framing and your subtle touch again...

Nice shots from the PP Market Dan. These are excellent as well. And I was also struck by that same thing when I was in Dallas earlier this year. For Lease signs everywhere.
