Friend of mine told me, that he found bargain deal on M8.2 and 35 Cron.
I asked how it was. He told me, that a company got bankrupt and he found it sold by a repo man.
I asked if there are papers, like invoices. He said NO.
I adviced him, that he should check serials with Leica (via our local dealer).
I explained to him, that whenever he sends camera or lens for repair or simple calibration - they check serials.
And guess what. All was STOLEN!
So my friend thanked me, and the company person who was saying camera and lens belonged to him - is now accused of handling stolen goods.
