This thread moves at lighting speed! Love to take the time to review all photography and it is always a great treat!

A few more from the weekend, M8 and Zeiss 25mm...let me know if this is getting boring :ROTFL:

A few words on the Zeiss. I wear glasses and I find it a pig to frame properly. I end up peering around the viewfinder like some idiot, and still end up including too much, or not enough :roll eyes: But it's ability to resolve detail is pretty amazing. Anyway, a few images - hope you enjoy them:

Very nice Mike. That lens does have some special qualities, and seems especially suited to the M8. Glad you're willing to put up with the idiosyncrasies, and to share the results with us.

I agree ... too much to keep up with.

I like this shed, but the color and contrast is becoming a little too extreme for my tastes. It's right on the edge... :)

A couple of quick night shots . . . . .

Night Ferry ~ Leaving the Dock ~ Port Townsend, WA

M9 with Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH -- ISO 320 -- f1.4 -- 1/8

Night Ferry ~ Underway ~ Port Townsend to Coupeville, WA

M9 with Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH -- ISO 320 -- f4 -- 0.7s

. . . . . both hand held on a moving, vibrating ferry.

Not perfect but I found the capture interesting considering the conditions.

Thanks!

Some folks have asked to see what the shot Gitta made looked like. I don't have her iPhone exposure, but I did catch this a few moments later:
