Thanks, Steve, Charles, and Lloyd....thanks for the kind words from you all. Lloyd, if I am not mistaken, this front of cold and wet is headed your way, maybe not that far south, but close....

Thanks, Charles and Ed!

Ed, I was tempted to walk to Kerry Park, and I see that you have gotten some amazing captures there!

Nice Maggie. How's that new one working?
Well, I've had it for something 28 hours so far and it's promising. It's a bit bigger than I was hoping- it won't quite fit in my purse, like my D-Lux 3, but it's a lot of fun to shoot, even if I can't process RAW files from it yet.

Sorry if you have met him previously..

Another shot of my sister - technically flawed in several respects but I still like it :)

M9 + Zeiss 50mm f1.5 Sonnar:

It's been a long time without posting on Getdpi althought I've been starring at this digital album. Happy new year to all here.

Hi Lloyd - yes, it's just desaturated a little

Here is it's perfect counterpart (forgive me if you've seen it)

Another fun shot, Ash. As for the cold front, yes, it's here, but it's warmed up a bit. Here in the valley, we're only getting rain. (Which quite honestly I don't mind. Snow in the mountains works for me.)

Oh my god, Charles... those photos.... so amazing!

Not much, but I bought a hat today. I needed a hat for the winter, and no normal hat fits my head (I have an exceptionally large head). I also needed something to wear for this Noah's Ark themed party I'm headed to tonight... so I bought myself (and Hillary) a lion hat!

Not much of a photo, but I'm really liking the way the 40/1.4 renders it's photos... They're so sharp, but dreamy.
