Thanks! I fussed over the sharpening on this one as the first pass to a web-rez version really looked awful. It took a touch of this and a touch of that to restore the vividness of the full resolution image.

Love the "stockbridge machine company" photo. The other one seems somehow oddly flat in the mid tones.
2nd one was shot with a old uncoated 9" veritos (portrait lens) when shot wide open like that you end up with a veiling flare that give a glow (it's not 'soft focus'.. the detail is there.)

Just got home from skiing . . . and it snowed last night!

It was pretty chilly today - Milo had to wear his coat (and so did Silas)

All with the M9 and noctilux 0.95 - wide open or nearly so.
Jono..excellent timing and positioning. I personally doubt it is the Nocti that

delivered the goods. But if it makes all of us happy. Hurray for the Nocti.

Best.

Lloyd, hope your elbow heals up soon and well

here are a few shots of the Winter Carnival we went to yesterday , -11C but we had a cool ride of a 2 horse-open sleigh , I like the first shot a lot , and I dont even like horses! the 3rd one is my daughter and nephew, the last my brother after his death defying ride down the iced-up slide hill

Robert - super horse shots - this one especially - what lens?

Cheers,

This lens is almost too sharp.
HI Godfrey
No Such Thing - nice shot though!

Essaouira, Morocco
Lovely Ray - the Berber I like less (but I still like it!)
Thanks for the kind words on the boy and dog shot . . . shooting with the Nocti has it's own rythmn and rewards . . . but it doesn't deliver images on it's own!

A couple with M8 + ZM50P (first two) and ZM18 (last one).
I love the first one especially Gary - Excellent! I also really like the b&w tree root shot from earlier.

Robert - I also really liked the horse shots

all the best

Thank you . . . . I might be going mad!

Yes - just a short leak break from the office (which is over on the left).

And the 75'cron a corker as always :D
Bart - that's dreadful . . . but of course it's quite correct! The wine was a pleasant 2006 rioja . . not up to the quality of the lens I fear!

Yousaf. From the Berber tribe of Morocco.

I asked if I could take some pictures of him and his father. They agreed, but

the father did not want his on the web.

I told Yousaf he might find a girl for marraige on the web.

Essaouira, also known by the Berber name Tasroot, Morocco.

A UNESCO World Heritage Town.

A little more subdued look at this down, and what sunset might bring in terms of music and dinner. Music is a bit dated though.
