Did what I could with a 90mm mounted and they were just across the table in a restaurant booth. I really didn't want to cut of his chin, but oh well :)

Went back to San Diego this past weekend to revisit some old college stumping ground with my wife and son. It was kind of nice and eerie at the same time... how fast 15+ years has gone by.

First up, the Gliders' Port in La Jolla, where you can simply jump off a cliff. It was kind of cloudy in morning, June gloom in full effect.

Nice. Very nostalgic for me. Used to be a favorite hangout of ours too. ;)

35 lux @ F8 on M9, UV filter only. Man, I love this 35 lux. I did let the right side be a little darker here, to show true contrast in light and dark you get in this location. There's a rather large hill/mountain that backs this stream on the right, so it light blocks a lot any time the sun is overhead or behind it. To me that contast in light and dark is part of the beauty.

Re: Fun with the New Leica M

Profileration. My wife says they are like cockroaches. By the way, I like this camera very much.

50mm AA, ISO 2000.
