Somerset House, London, from the top of the ME Hotel. There's a very crowded ice skating rink in the courtyard. M(240) with 35mm Lux FLE.

Cheers, Matt

M9 ~ Lux 35mm f/1.4 ASPH ~ 4 photographs merged into a HDR then reduced saturation and shadow to leave some blue light and faint color.

I've now got the 2x tele extender for use with my 280mm Leica R lens. According to the Leica Compendium the 280 is effectively diffraction limited. With the 2x extender focal length is 560mm; performance in on a par with dedicated longs. The extender adds a bit of CA but LR handles it easily. A very demanding lens in use - atmospheric conditions are the main problem with heat waves reading like aliasing with short exposures and as blur in long exposures, even on a cold still day. Usable for landscape on the M with EVF, but fussy.

Old Town Alexandria. Leica M with Nocti f/0.95. ISO 2000, f/5.6 at 1/60. Also I had a variable ND filter attached because I didn't have a place to put if if I took it off. That happens more than I like to admit.

Attempting to take at least one photograph a day. A friend sent a long a link to blipfoto.com and I am going to make an attempt to post a photo a day. Today is day eight! I posted yesterdays in the Pentax forum as well and can be found here: http://www.getdpi.com/forum/560416-post2396.html

Tonight I was not up for heading out into the rain so settled for an indoor photo. It is a fun challenge but could be a long year!
