In the middle of our spring break road trip right now... brought my laptop so I can process the images at the end of each day. Here are some shots from Salton Sea, note all that white sand are actually fish bones!

Then we visited Salvation Mountain near by... a very interesting place.

On our way to Phoenix, passed by some sand dunes.

Took the Leica M-E (Leica M9) with my 35 Summarit and 50 Summilux ASPH to the train yard on this beautiful spring evening. I was joined by some of my friends and had a wonderful time!

Day 2! On our way from Phoenix to Roswell, we swung down to visit Tombstone, AZ, which was pretty dead (maybe it's because it's on a weekday).

I was hoping to see the White Sands National Monument, but it was closed by the time we got there... I forgot to adding in the extra hour in timezone change.

Stuff from today. First two pixel-peeping tests. A new archeology center in the making, dug deep in the ground between two national museums. Overall view with the M[240] + SEM 18:

some details with a 135 Telyt-asph:

and current blooms, also with the Telyt (it's gotten to be summer now):
