Fun w/Digital M Images

Question about the cool texture in the foreground. Those look like ski tracks over a mogul field, but the sparse tufts of grass suggest that it is wind-blown snow over very bumpy ground, maybe pasture. What is the setting?

Yes, the texture was created by the wind-blown top of the hill in the
Mala Fatra mountains, Slovakia.
The camera settings: f/8.0,1/1000 sec,ISO 160
