Hi,
When turning focus ring near 0.3m, it's a little bit not smooth
and reaching the end 0.3m, with a slight click sound.
Is that normal?
What about other mm lens of Leica R?
Thank you:)

No, it isn't normal. As you may know, the later R28 Elmarit has a floating element design, and this doubles the complexity of the helical focus mechanism and typically increases focus ring resistance due to the extra drag.

As far as servicing, I think I paid about $200 to Leica for a CLA on that lens.

Thank you, JimBuchanan!!
Your R28 V2 or other mm was like that?
It's not serious for my R28, maybe $200 CLA could be saved.
Which other mm lens of Leica R are of floating element design?
I will take more notice for the next buying. Thanks!

Some who have R28 have similar experiences: (Some has, some hasn't, Leica QC?)
