Vintage lens mini test: Cron50, Elmarit 135 and Helios 40

Hi all, I just posted up a blog post on 3 vintage lenses that I use a lot

    1964 Summicron 50/2
    1973 Elmarit 135/2.8

    both on a Leica M8

    1965 Helios 40 85/1.5 M42 lens

    mounted on a Pentax K-X

Vintage Lenses with Dude: Helios 40 VS Cron 50 VS Elmarit 135

I just realised that the newest lens is 39 years old!

Totally agree with your comment about the shot of your daughter. Great photo.

This makes me really want that Helios 40. Such an interesting look. definitely no budget left for photography after recent kit acquisitions. Haha.

Thanks for sharing such an interesting write-up/set of photos
