rayyen that Hologon shot is indeed amazing. Another good thing about the MM, no color-shift issues :)

Shashin - I was thinking the same, though I don't know enough to know if it actually does them harm. And especially beautiful cherry trees on a campus (UofW?) like that.
The living part of the tree is between the bark and wood. It is just a thin layer. The pressure of the line can damage or server it. This is why girdling, stripping a thing strip of bark from around the trunk, will kill a tree. Even the instructions for a slack line tell you to use padding to protect a tree.

Finally took out my Canon 50/0.95 briefly. I am amazed how sharp this lens is even wide open and why I hang on to it forever.
