Dreams of Vietnam

Hi everyone, I spent few more months working and living in Hanoi where I had the opportunity to get out once a week and shoot with my Leica M9 and my wife's Fuji X100s. I'm starting to like the Fuji more for street photography as its lighter, smaller and while at first I missed the involvement that Leica provides with its manual focus, I did end up appreciating the more effortless automagic focus of the Fuji. Gear talk aside, here are the photos I wanted to share with this wonderful community of photographers.

Very nice series Arthur
+1! A very interesting look at Hanoi, a city familiar of course in name to me but not of customs and everyday life. Aside from the many interesting and poignant captures, your conversion and processing of B&W files is very nicely done.

Thanks ever so much for posting and sharing of your lovely series of images.

Arthur, thank you for sharing your photos.

The BW city shoots provided a nice glimpse into the streets of Hanoi. Most were of a serious nature while the color photos of West Lake had a more playful touch. My favorite photograph is the lone fisherman #3 of the West Lake Series.
