Smile SL firmware 2.0 now available

Fellow SL users - I was browsing the Leica website SL pages and noticed that firmware 2.0 is now available - just installed myself without problems. No idea why Leica haven't sent out e-mails yet, or the usual new sites haven't picked it up - can't believe I'm the first!

    Thanks for posting the notice.

I've been testing the new firmware this morning. Many aspects of the SL's operation are very nicely improved. Most notable to me is the ability to use the top and rear dials for direct EV compensation adjustment; it's amazing how a small detail like this can completely change the way a camera works and makes it so much better.

I quite agree, Godfrey. Beforehand, I found the top dial to be utterly superfluous, now EV compensation is a doddle.
