Deceased, but remembered fondly here...
Amazing work here, Helen. They make me think of the city images in Fritz Lang's Metropolis, strange, dark, void of human life.

John / Thank YouAmazing work here, Helen. They make me think of the city images in Fritz Lang's Metropolis, strange, dark, void of human life.
"M" is on my all time best films list. I've often wondered what "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" would have been like if Lang (first choice for director) had not be involved with directing "Spiders" at the time.John / Thank You
that was a Very cool site
and I LOVED those City Scapes /Metropolis
I'm a Big Fan of Fritz Lang /One of the Founding Fathers of Classic Noir

Actually Cam I AGREEgorgeous, Helen!
just an FYI -- the Super Angulon is quite sweet on the M8 as well
very light, with a ton of character. lovely lovely lens!!!
Quite Moody , LOVE it Erik /ERIK FVEThe 21 SA is legendary. One of those must have lenses for B&W film. Love your shots Helen. I sold mine when I needed the cash two years ago and have regretted it since. Good thing I know of a mint in the box one that wont go anywhere for when I have cash for it in the future As Guy says it wont meter correctly on meter bodies, but everyone should have a digisix/flash in their pocket anyway
Here is one I took two years ago:
you can, Helen -- it's easy! as long as you use a flash.... seriously, that's the key. without one, forget it. i didn't want to admit it, but that's truly the key. quite fun as well, though it kind of limits who you'll feel comfy taking shots ofhelenhill;89358 The only Difficulty I have with the SA21 is People Shots I can't seem to get in 'Close Enough' ....the way Bruce Gilden gets those Fab Character [I said:style[/I] shots of people
I'm becoming a flash convert myself... sometimes ya gotta go with it.Good Point Cam . ...I don't think I'm a flash gal
Mind You I Love the way Gilden blinds You before taking the Shot...:ROTFL:
more from the Fire/ M2- Ilford DDx -Ilford FP4
