    M8 Hiking Pack Solution

    Dear Fellow Enthusiast,

    Im hiking down into the Grand Canyon next February for a stay at Phantom Ranch. Very excited about the trip!

    I'm looking for insight into a solution for hiking with my camera and a couple of lenses and misc. accessories that can be at the ready during the hike.

    Ill have a full backpack on so I need something that can hang in front preferably at chest height so as not to hinder movement.

    Anyone out there seen anything that might work for me?

    Thank you for your assistance!

    Gary P

    Hi Gary,

    You're lucky, hiking with an M8 is a pleasure, Optech has a couple of products that might work for you;

    straps to hang your camera from your backpack instead of around your neck

    I'm sure that you can find many small bags or pouches for you other lenses and accessories to hang from your back, or your belt.

    Ben Tanner just tested the a new backpack made by Flapa which he liked very much. Here is the published review.

    Lots of choices out there believe me, I have many of them already !!

    Happy hunting,
