i need help pick out the power pack.

1. Elinchrom Digital RX 2400 Watt
2. Broncolor Topas A4 RFS 3200
3. Profoto Acute 2R - 2400 Watt
4. Norman D24R

which one better?

My budget is around $5000.

Either way Bill. I can push the budget a bit more for 2 more head. I know i can get the Profoto Acute 2R with 2 head for around $5000 (+/-)

My main concern is the power pack.

Hi,
For me the Elinchrom and Profoto are always the brands I would choose.
Personally I opted for Elinchrom due to the modifiers I really like and the Rangers which are lightweight on location.

what is it mean by "7 f stop, or 6 f stop" ? i saw each pack has different figure. Is it the more f stop it offer = the better?

It means the range in which you can work, nothing to do with better or worse.
It just gives you more range.
