Hotel Guest Room Shot Tip Request

Hello :

This is a specific question - Writing in the hopes that someone knows of a trick or has a tip -

When shooting Guest Rooms of Hotels, I find myself struggling when setting the pillows on the bed which need to be squared up, standing upright with no folds or creases - I have at times spent over 15 to 20 mins just trying to get the pillows looking right - All of which is very frustrating.

I have even tried having the pillow covers starched and then ironed, this helps but then the pillows do not "look and feel" comfortable or as one expects them.

I will really appreciate if anyone knows of a solution or has tips based on their experience.

Await your replies.

Sounds like you need a professional "fluffer" to get the pillows to their maximum size. :D

(Sorry, couldn't resist!)

You don't need a "fluffer", just put a "stiffener" behind the pillow ... and I don't mean Viagra :ROTFL:

A 1/8" foam-core card slipped into the back of pillow case will hold it upright nicely, without sacrificing the fluffiness and plumpness of the front facing the camera.
