    80mm D vs LS consensus ?

I plan to do my own testing this weekend.
Anybody else recent testing since Guy's review?

Here is a "fluid" document, continually updated with my findings on all Mamiya/Phase lenses: http://forum.getdpi.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15710

    Re: 80mm D vs LS consensus ?

thanks - Just ran a real quickie test at distance -- interesting to note that both my 80's AF focus on very far object (3 blocks away) just shy of actual infinity on my 645 DF. Manual focusing to actual infinity marker is sharper in the viewfinder.
    Anyone else notice this?

First impression: the LS is sharper at all f stops. corners seems to hold up nicely for all I've read about softening. I know 'sharpness' isn't everything. Next is portraits to check out bokeh.

will shoot more and post something organized. when life allows!
