I remain confused re: the various Capture One software products. I am currently using version 4.0.1xxx for my M8 files and like what it does. Now I think there's a newer version available (4.1?) and would like to know if that's a paid upgrade or simply a free update. And, I am still unsure of the differences between Capture One and Capture One Pro.

Any clarification you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tim,

I think you are in the same situation as I am. I got Capture One LE with my M8 and with that got 2 free major upgrades. One of these took us to 4.X but I dont think 4.1 will be considered a major release so should be free.

Capture One Pro I understand is more feature rich version that is not covered by the M8 license.
