    Rm3di vs. RL3d

Please help me figure out the technical differences and functional pros and cons of the Arca Rm3di vs. The RL3d. My under standing is that the RL is about an inch wider and taller, a few ounces heavier, and shifts 10 mm further in the vertical direction. Obviously the RM is a little easier for backpacking, but otherwise, why would you buy one vs the other in terms of the final images?
    Thanks,
    Joseph

The RL3D is the big sister of the RM3d . All functions are the same . You can shoot with the same digital backs , but might need different adapters .
But the main difference is , you can also use 4x5 " sheet film with the RL3D .
As far as I know , this is unique . I do not know any other modern camera which can do that .

Unfortunately ARCA SWISS has no home page . Hopefully , the ARCA Specialists in this forum will have more info and also some good links .
    Regards . Jürgen .

The Cambo WDS can also be used for 4x5 and roll film, as well as digital backs.
