THIS VERY RARE ACCESSORY BY ARCA SWISS IS CALLED THE BRAINBOX, IT IS A MECHANICAL COMPUTER ( NO BATTERIES ) WHICH READS DEPTH OF FIELD FOR ANY LENS ON FORMATS FROM 6X9 cm TO 8X10 INCH AND ALSO GIVES THE TILT ANGLE REQUIRED TO COVER THE DISTANCE BETWEEN TWO POINTS. IT SLIDES ONTO ANY ARCA RAIL AND IS VERY SIMPLE TO USE.

Anyone know if there is an equivalent App (i.e. one that deals with tilt as well as DoF) for the iPhone etc. ?

The is the find of the year. Everybody needs a "Brainbox"; especially those with the Arca Cube. It looks like the box fits onto the focus rail of an Arca View Camera. Perhaps distances between the front and rear standards are determined with the little tape measure? I bet Jack has his E-bay bid in already!!
