    New IQ Firmware 1.19 posted

Downloaded and installed, and running smoothly. FWIW, firmware now updates like most DSLR's have for the last three generations, via a file copied to the CF card and installed in the back -- no more cabling to your computer.

    From the release notes:

    1. Improved power management between 645DF and IQ digital back
    2. Improved battery charging ability on Firewire connection
    3. Improved stability with “two shoot” mode when working with technical cameras.
    4. Support for the Mamiya RZ67 PRO IID camera
    5. More CF card insert and eject robustness
    6. General stability Issues

No, this is a minor operations update. Main addition was specific RZ67 support.

Such dates in Manufacturer parlance almost always mean "strongly targeting the last day of the month". I would be *shocked* to see it before the last week of the month.
