Like you say, I don't think it makes a massive difference to the coulour cast but I imagine would make a world of difference if shooting a not quite so well illuminated subject. Less work for C1 is only a good thing with regards to noise.
Can't wait to get mine but in typical Schneider fashion, I ordered mine weeks ago and still no sign of it.
