How good is the 28mm D on a IQ140?

I have heard good things and bad things about this lens.
But the bad things have been "soft in the corners".
So with my cropped IQ140 it is a terrific lens??

I never noticed soft corners with the P40+ and in fact the lens generally felt wider FoV than it's official 21/22mm 'equivalent' focal length FoV might suggest. I'm sure one of the technical folks can explain that one ...

Yes works great on the P40 . At f11 your good to go

They can vary. But you can use C1’s Sharpness falloff to compensate somewhat for corner softness.

I'd imagine the 28mm f/4.5 D is a fantastic lens on a crop sensor. On a P65+ or Leaf Aptus-II 12, it leaves a lot to be desired, lacking immensely in corner sharpness.

Think of it as a 31mm lens on FF.
