sdxc in Phase back

has anyone tried one of these: sdxc card fitted into a Compact flash adapter used in the phase back? so the sdxc card can be directly read by a macbook pro?

My guess is that it will work fine. Unfortunately, SDXC is generally slower than the contemporary offerings from CF. Particularly if you have a FW800/ExpressPort CF card reader.

those SD-to-CF adapters need a CF card slot type II (due to card adapter thickness, similar to micro drives). I am not sure whether type I or type II slots are built into Phase backs.
