Can someone tell me if the iXR could be used as a mirror-less Alpa style body?
It is after all simply a fancy box made for a Phase LS lens at one end, and the back at the other. Most of us own 2 of those components already. Fit a finder in the hotshoe, and away you go, or am I missing something?
problems:
lack of a mounting point for a handgrip or even a strap (doh, phase!)
power - do they really need an AC adapter (on an airplane for the iXA?) Can it operate with the IQ battery pack alone?
advantages:
mirrorless and electronic leaf shutter images, simpler, quieter, lighter, less vibration.
compared to Alpa: faster lenses, but less choice.
Electronic leaf shutters, not manual ones - no cocking + faster sync.
would this work?
