Mamiya ZD Filter removal / clean

Has anyone gained access to the removable IR filter on the ZD, or tried cleaning the CCD sensor after removing the filter? I have some difficult to shift blobs and want a crack at cleaning the IR filter but while it is easy to remove the filter using the dedicated filter holder, I have not tried removing the filter from the holder itself for cleaning, nor tried cleaning the sensor with it removed.

I cleaned the sensor with removed IR filter. Worked fine.
