    Iphone holder by kirk... + viewfinder pro...

    anyone tried one of these on his technical camera ?

    It looks like it's meant to be used to mount your iPhone on a tripod.

    You'd have to find a way to attach it to a camera (is there an adapter anywhere?), and you'd have to live with the lens not being centered, and moving side to side as you change from landscape to portrait.

    I have this for iPhone. Not as sturdy as the Kirk but a whole lot cheaper and I have plenty of plates.

    i was making a rail to adapt that one, when i've seen the kirk's version...

    with architecture and wide angles, i don't think that it's crucial to have the lens perfectly centered !

    Do you already own a wide angle lens kit for your iphone ? Some come with their own case and mounting system, it could limit your options.
    Btw, Arca Swiss apparently has a cold shoe mount available now : rm3d accessories

    I'm actually interested in that system too, but still looking for a wide angle lens that could be compatible with the different iphone models...

    I asked Arca to make me a cold shoe to mount my radio slave on way back when I bought my Rm3d. Love having that!

    my holder will accept wide angle lenses without requiring any case or adapters

    they are $750
    the version shown was for the 4

    i just made a version for the 5 and will be making a version for the Mini-I-pad
