Thanks for your kind words Alan :)

Regarding cold and snow, you can have it all!

When I look out side the window, it looks like a christmas card.
We have snow falling almost every day here for the last weeks and around -5 to -10 C.
It is just a pain in the rear.

Next week I will go about 400 km north and the week after that about 800 km north from here.
Up there they have had -30C for a long time, now just got down to -20C.
It makes everything hard going.

But yes, it looks good in a photo:D

From a ship yesterday to a shoot today for a company that make specialised portacabins.. this one is for reseachers boring holes in ice... (there is a hatch inside) Would be the ultimate ice fishing rig if you don't like the cold haha!

It's got to the point where all I need to do is see one of your pictures and even before I see the name I know it's yours. Really love your style.
Ben...Thank you so much for your kind words! I am honored with the compliment coming from you.
I recognized you from the series of B&W taken in Jerusalem which were very inspirational.
We share something in common...color blindness :)

Thanks. I used to shoot colour stuff, spent quality money on too many rolls of Velvia to mention, sample below shot on a Mamiya 645 Super. I like to think that I've matured beyond that somewhat. I see now in a far more simplistic manner, photographic sketches almost. I find B&W far more suited to that.

Recently had a conversation with Harry Benson, one of the great celebrity photographers. He said' "color is for artists, but Black and White is for Photographers."
