We've been meaning to go to the Palouse area for sometime now and finally decided to stop by on our way to Jackson Hole; not an easy thing to do as it took 2-1/2 days from Tucson then 12-hours on into Jackson Hole. The other problem was we only had 1-1/2 days to explore to make certain what we had seen on the web was what we wanted to come back and do "for real" - that decision was made in less than 10-minutes.

This image was captured around 6 P.M. on the day we arrived using the DF/IQ160 and Schneider LS 240 lens, handheld, f/5 1/160 ISO 50. This lens is not just great for wildlife, it can also knock it out of the park for landscape as well.

We're returning to the area in a couple weeks and will also have the Cambo WRS this time (it was in the apartment in Jackson). Looking forward to it....
