California Live Oak, one of the most beautiful trees. I passed this tree numerous times and every time I said, "I need to take my good camera to photograph this." Now I did.

Hasselblad SWC/M
p.s. do you see a "woman" in the tree?

A casual shot with 645z and A200, 1/1250 sec f:4 ISO 400, handheld. Got Lightroom 6, and played with the new HDR function from single DNG (one copy -1 EV for the sky, merged with another copy +3 stops for the shadows). You get an extremely malleable 32bit HDR-DNG, really nice Feature IMO

Morning!

I thought spring was in full control now but decidedly wintery here again this morning, a few inches of snow overnight and lots of cloud, quick shot from the river early on.

Afternoon

More experimenting last night with a local band, very dark room with a few simple lamps, far from ideal but I like the results anyway!

Evening

We have sunlight hitting small rivers that have started to flow after months under snow and ice, looks nice!
