I was out with the GF250mm + 1.4xTC today when I spotted this Grey Heron in shallow water. I was hoping I'd see him catch something but he seemed content to just stand still so I'll settle for that

Another composition from the Torri gate location. I showed a wider view of this scene B&W about 2 weeks ago.

Not sure if I prefer the colour or the B&W version.

A couple of years ago - Chief Mountain, Montana, seen from Alberta. The international border runs right across the scene, with no fence or wall. IQ180. SK 240mm.

Very nice shot Bill. Perhaps if Canada decides in the future to build a wall, they can get the US to pay.

It's only an hour or so from where I live to the Scottish borders, so I really should make the effort to get up there more often, there's some great history to be seen. This is Smailholm tower near Kelso, the tower dates back to the 15th century. GFX50S + GF23mm:
