This is an image of “hanging rock” in Middletown, Rhode Island.
The scene has been painted by a slew of very collectible artists including one painted in 1868 by John Lafarge which hangs in the Metropolitan Museum in NYC.
A few decades ago The Norman Bird Sanctuary connected a walking path to the precipice where people can view the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the Sauchset Wildlife preserve to the south, and the magnificent St George Cathedral to the north.
This angle is no longer visible from the road because of the overgrowth surrounding the area; so I arranged to bring a 12 foot ladder to the point where I believe Lafarge and others stood while painting the scene.
Of course, I stopped beach traffic and had to deal with the police while explaining that the inconvenience was for the sake of art

My first camera, photographed by my current (last?) camera. Kodak Instamatic 104 and Phase One IQ4 150.

This could also qualify as a post as a MF macro, tech camera or BTS. When I got the Cambo / Canon 24 TS setup I didn't realize how close it could focus. I've included a setup shot so you can see the lens is only about 3 inches from the subject. I focused on the Kodak logo with some lens swing to extend the plane of focus across the front of the camera.

A bit of fun at Templo del Sagrado Corazon de Jesus (Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus) overlooking Barcelona. I was there for the star trail picture that I posted a couple of weeks ago. But, after shooting that sequence, I noticed a red moon rising - so I shot it using my 6x7 300mm EDIF lens. Then it occurred to me that it would look interesting composited onto one of the shots taken for the stars - using the Pentax 55mm f2.8 DFA lens. Both using 645Z.

Bit of fun really...
