Tethering Leaf AptusII (DM22) with Ipad

I was wondering if anyone have a setup where you use a macbook with long tethering cable and hookup the wifi (from the macbook) for ipad preview.

I have read a bit about using LeafCapture? with a server you could install on your mac, to send the preview image with wifi to an ipad that got a leaf app on it.

I have tried to get this working with my iphone, but not been able to.

So anyone else done this? I thought it would be great to have an external wireless monitor so clients could watch each photo. or to have it on a tripod next to me when shooting instead of leaning down to my laptop.

Use capture pilot if it supports your camera system?
