    Remove Lugs from Contax 645

Does anyone know of a (non destructive) way to remove the camera strap lugs from the Contax 645? Or are they designed to forever dig into my finger every time I pick the camera up? Thanks!

I'm hoping to remove the actual metal lugs embedded in the camera. There is a small slotted protrusion next to the larger lug, which would seem to invite removing with a screwdriver, but it doesn't budge.

I would just buy some black sugru, mold it over the lugs and call it a day. Its going to protect you from them and not create potential for issues from having a gaping hole in the body.

I'll try the Sugru. Thanks for the tip!
