    Phase One Adaptor Plates

Can they be switched out? Such as switch an "H" adaptor for a "M" adaptor. I seem to have heard this is either impossible, or impossibly expensive. Can someone explain this to me? Thanks.

The mount on a phase one back cannot be changed; it is part of the overall chassis.

You can swap your unit for one of a different mount. This is free (once) for a back under value added warranty, or $3k if not.

Why do you ask? Sometimes there are alternatives you may not be aware of.

I have someone who wants to purchase my 180 "H" mount for his DF "M" mount. So, if he were willing, he could swap out a used 180 "H" for another 180 M" plus 3K? Thanks.
