Test shots of the Canon TS-E 17mm f/4 L on the IQ260 and the IQ250

I know this is not new but still decide to share it.

Discussion: I observe pincushion distortion in the corners, as well as field curvature beyond infinity. It is a decent rectilinear lens, but you would have to make personal judgement on the corner sharpness, especially true if you are a tech geek.

On a side note, Canon is probably going to announce a better combo for corner sharpness soon:

Canon EF 11-24 f/4 L USM + Canon EOS 5Ds

Not downloaded the files yet as am out and about, but from (extensive) experience, I wouldn't dream of shooting the 17 at anything below f/11.

Would be interesting to know your thoughts at f/11 and 13.

Kind regards,

Gerald.
