**Breaking News - Cambo Actus DB PLUS

Some pretty exciting and surprising news.

This week, CI launched a promotion with Leaf and Cambo:

https://captureintegration.com/credo-50-cambo-actus-db-bundle/

$19,990 - Leaf Credo 50V/Cambo Actus DB Bundle

The Cambo Actus DB Plus is available as a value kit with the Leaf Credo 50V (Hasselblad V Mount only). And yes, Leaf is targeting the Hasselblad CFV-50c price point to offer a competitively priced value alternative.

However, it is also available as a stand alone unit for purchase outside of the Leaf Credo 50V bundle.

Within these details, the Actus DB Plus is an update to the previous version Actus DB.

The differences between Actus DB and Actus DB Plus:

* DB Plus has a standard monorail length of 175mm (vs 155mm on Actus DB)).
* DB Plus has engraved scales for Schneider or Rodenstock to tell you where to set the protection lock for each lens.
* DB Plus has rear geared shift (vs free slide on Actus DB)

Standard pricing is $2,670 for the Cambo Actus Plus body and standard bellows (about $75 higher than previous Actus DB).

No photos yet, but stay tuned.

Orders taken now.

Can we expect a version compatible with both MFDB and 24x36, like the A/S universalis (simply with a different rear standard) ?

I was wondering about this - is it not possible to swap-out the rear standard (even if it's the whole thing, gears 'n' all). Seems a bit daft having to buy two separate cameras.

I bought the Actus DB and asked about this too as an option. It can be done but is more than a simple bolt on/off for both 35mm support and MFDB. I tended to agree with the folks at CI that it really only makes sense to share the lens boards and have two bodies. The delta wasn't huge vs the conversion kit.

Shooting "portraits" yesterday in Amsterdam with the Actus DB+, Credo 50 and SK 90mm...

It's more convenient to just have separate kits, and the difference in price between the conversion kit and a separate Actus DB kit is worth it to some. Changing them out though is not that intensive, but may not be something everyone is comfortable doing out in the field. Screenshots are attached that show the process, which is removing one screw from the rear standard, sliding it off, replacing with the Actus DB Rear Standard, then removing 4 screws from the front lens standard, removing, inserting the riser block, then reseating it.
