Phaseone XF with iq260 vs iq360

There is a great promotion on acquiring a XF camera with iq260 here in Spain. So my question is: What is the difference of getting the iq260 instead of the iq360 with this camera?

The IQ3 series had several new features, but most were offered to IQ2 backs via a free firmware update. So here are the (short) list of distinct advantages:
    - IQ3 can charge via USB3 when using BC1.2 compatible hubs. Great if shooting in studio tethered; not terribly important if shooting untethered most of the time.
    - IQ3 can share power with an XF body. This makes for longer battery life, and easier battery changes (since the system will run off the remaining battery while changing the other, without rebooting or needing to wait for the reboot/reconnect when shooting in a hurry).
    - When using the forthcoming AC Adapter for the XF body the IQ3 will also charge (facilitated by the power sharing listed above)
    - When buying an IQ3 back with an XF body and lenses all components in that purchase are given a 5-year warranty including a loaner on any of those components (back/body/lenses). IQ2 warranty situation will vary based on how the IQ2 is sold; you should inquire with your dealer what the warranty on back/body/lenses are.

Image quality wise the IQ260 and IQ360 are essentially identical.

Whether the above features, improvements, and warranty differences are worth the additional price is of course something only you can say! Good luck either way and let us know what you think of the new XF body.

Note: You're not inquiring about it, but for other readers with a similar question regarding the IQ3 80mp model... The IQ380 added long exposure, and so has an image quality advantage (mostly for long exposures) over the IQ280.

So helpful, Doug! For some reason, I couldn't find this information. The local vendor is offering a refurbished iq260 + XF camera + 80 lens, for 22,000 (+VAT) and the same kit but with the old DF+ camera for 17,000 (+VAT). The warranty is only 1 year but this is very tempting...
