While preparing to cover all the upcoming Photokina News from Phase One and others, we wanted to share some of our own news.

In November 2016 we will be releasing the DT Time Lapse Suite. The suite will consist of two applications: DT Time Lapse Capture for controlling the capture sequence and DT Time Lapse Smoother for automating the laborious post processing tasks of smoothing and ramping adjustments such as exposure and white balance in Capture One.

We’ll be showing off the tools at the Phase One Booth at PPE.

Key Features of the Suite
- Smooth ramping of adjustments in Capture One
- Automatic identification of keyframes
- Synchronized capture for multiple cameras
- Complete control of the dark frame behavior, allowing near gapless capture

Sincere congratulations for coming out with this.

If this is as good functionally as LRTimelapse, it will be a game-changer.

Kind regards,

Gerald.

This sounds really promising.

Which parameters in the capture sequence can be controlled with the DT Time Lapse Capture application?
Can you set the long exposure shutter speeds to greater precision than the default speeds in the XF?
Is it possible to adjust a capture sequence on the fly (e.g. if the lighting conditions change unpredictably) without interrupting the running sequence?

Shutter/ISO/Aperture can all be changed during capture sequence. The smoother app can then automatically identify/tag frames where they changed (so the jump in exposure can be smoothed out).

Thanks. LRTimeLapse was definitely an inspiration. It's main limitation being that it only works with LightRoom, while most of our clients want to use Capture One.

Better later than never!

DT Time Lapse Suite is now available.

Here's an example of the auto smoothing in C1 referenced above:
