This is the sort of thing I should be able to work out for myself but I clearly don't have the wit to find the right part of the right manual.
Using the back on an Alpa STC with a Rodenstock Alpagon 40HR, I would appear to have two options for flash sync:
1) Use the flash sync port on the lens to trigger the flash, in which case there's no real way to trigger the back to expose.
2) Use the flash sync port on the lens to cause the back to expose (via zero latency and a one-shot cable) and get the back to trigger the flash via some port or other. But which port? There's a rubber cover which hides two terminals, one for the one-shot cable and one for what looks like flash sync BUT one thing I have learned is: never connect flash sync to a terminal unless you know in advance that it is correct to do so - or risk frying something or other.
I simply can't find any reference in any manual to the 'other' port behind the rubber cover. I am quite sure I'm being daft but I need help!
Thanks in advance!
