CorelDraw can’t open image

I’m working in company which develops designer projects. I’m one of the designers, I’m using CorelDraw 2017 on Windows 10 x64. And it looks like we have the ultimate software, but instead of it, today my .cdr image hasn’t open by a reason of: Error reading a CorelDRAW file. In some days I have to open it and to finish my work.

Does the company backup it's work ? Perhaps the backup copy is not corrupted.

Try the following if you don’t know how to recover corrupted corel draw file, this a trick with the help of archives, in case it didn’t help, I would suggest you read and learn such resources

- rename the file to ".zip "
- open the zip-file with Winzip or WinRar (these programs has a repair-function for zip)
- try to repair the file
- then extract the riffdata.cdr from content-folder of zip-file and open this file in CorelDRAW
These steps work for me.
